1G Will GVR4 blower motor fit in a 1990?

Couldn’t find anything about this. Is the GVR4 blower motor the same as a 1990? Mine is trash and I’ve sourced one from a Galant. Thanks.

Yeah I thought that, too. So I checked all part numbers for the motor/fan and the blower assy. but the part numbers are all different between 1G dsm and GVR4.
but I don't compare physically, so maybe it would work if it can be attached.

I haven't seen a gvr4 blower motor, but I imagine it's doable, maybe @GST with PSI can ring in?

Thanks for the input guys. If it’s not a simple installation then I’m not too worried about it, I’m sure I can find a stock 1G blower motor!

I fixed mine a decade ago by replacing the brushes with ones from the hardware store. I had to sand them down to make them fit but that was all that was wrong with the motor.
