will evo 9 cams work in a 6 bolt head?

I don't see what engine orientation has to do with it. same orientation as the evo8 which I've been running a set for awhile now.

I'm not sure how it was done yet. haven't researched it yet. its controlled by oil pressure not ecu. ecu just needs to adjust for the change in timing. at least thats my thoughts without looking into it much yet anyways.
 
Thanks guys seems like more work than its worth. My buddys got a set he's switching out and figured I can get them cheap. Might as well just buy the ones made for it.

One more question though would it be worth putting the evo o exhuast cam in and staggering it with my stock intake cam? And is the stock evo cam bigger than my 1g cam. Just wondering if its worth the mod or not?

if he is changing cams ill buy them for cheap to experiment with. let me know what he wants.
 
i am building this motor so the head will be apart dont think ill go this route though probly just go with a set of 272s or somethin.
