Wierd Problems

Okay First Problem

1, A few weeks ago I topped off the oil(it was a quart low I think its burning it) anyways, 3 days after that I pull into work and I notice smoke pouring our from under the hood, I opened the hood and I oil cap was gone, I must have put it on wrong(don't ask, I'm not sure) or something. Well I got someone to run to The auto parts store and get me a cap and oil and bring it to me.Since then though after a long drive, while I'm sitting at idle, the oil light starts blinking and the oil pressure isn't as high as it use to be, I'm not sure what the problem is.

2, Also, About a week ago I notice the car sounds like it has an after market exaust(it doesn't) and I dare say, an increase in power? sounds wierd I know.Anyway Its just alot louder now, Only thing I can thing of is a hole in the exaust, but I would think that would cause a lose of power.If It is a hole I don't think it will pass emissions like that. Anyway, any help anyone can offer would be appreciated.

If it's a hole in the exhaust, take it to a muffler shop and have them patch it up with a quick weld job. Might cost you $10-$15.

I'm pretty sure its a hole now, I keep smelling exaust.

Any ideas about the oil problem?

Does the oil level stay good for while? How often do you fill it up?

I have to throw a quart in about every 2 weeks.
