man...anyone out there got a mind of their own? one guy mentions a spacefish and suddenly everyone is lookin throught the same eyes and has the same image...

The three side vents on each side may be opened or left shut depending on your preference. The vents are designed for those serious racers who need their brakes cooling, just like the porche's! The Quwhees body kits are VERY EXPENCIVE just alone, then you have to install them which I hear is a major BIATCH! Then you have to get wheel spacers and a set of wheels with a huge ass offset, then you have to go for your paint job that will cost like 1500-4000 bucks. AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
I think its too much. Quwhees are selling that kit for $2100, I found it on sale for $1000, but its about to end. But if you have the time, and money, and are able to not drive your car for a week or so while you install the body kit, then go ahead. I'll give you my props on that. But if you don't, we all understand.

That thing looks like a friggen 3G POS! I don't like it, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. :)

3G? You mean the Next Generation Eclipse's? They are concidered Next Gen for some reason. And the chassis wouldn't twist that much, It would actualy be better for the GSX owners cause of the wide stance, talk about better control! Look at it this way, you buy a 4x4, like say a nice Toyota Tacoma or Dodge Dakota, and you throw some big ass tires on it for offroading with the widest offset you could find, You take the risk of your chassis gettin damaged, but your smarter then that and you get your suspension fixed up with some nice shocks and springs, then you do the Urthane bushings, now your chassis don't twist enough to crack, Even when your at Moab crawlin over the rocks. Thats almost the same thing with the wide body eclipse, your puting a REALY BIG offset along with wheel spacers to give it to that right area you want it, Your going to have to install some great shocks and springs, and then your gonna have to do the Poly-Urthane bushings to stifen the chassis up a little more, then you can allways go aftermarket on sway bars and stuff like that. Going wide body is realy nice, especialy with that body kit, but it is very expencive when you add everything together. I've been gettin the opinions of alot of women on what they like the best for looks of an eclipse, and the Rudora and "Foclrum" Wide Bodykit are the best thing for looks. I even tried to compare them against the Blitz and Bomex, bomex blew away the blitz in that, but the bomex still wasn't good enough. I'd rather have a womans opinion on whats sexy, then I can work on showing off for tha ladies! HEHE:thumb: :dsm:

If I had the money, I would definatly go for the Foclrum body kit (NOT THE MAROON DROP TOP). The Folcrum is almost the same as those kits your seing, but its different, it looks alot better cause it makes the wide body look like the body kit is part of the car. If I had the money!

***EDIT*** BTW EuroGSTSpyder, I love your car man!

yeah guys, i agree...that body kit is a POS

 sigh, you guys are entitled to your opinion
