well, if it's been on there for a while, then the paint is most likely either stained from the glue they use to hold it on and/or it is a nice color paint while the other is faded. i had some graphics on my car and just took a razor and started to peel the corners, then when i got enough i just pulled it off with my hands. if all else fails take it to a graphics place and get them to remove it.

Yea i know im going to end up with another lighter color stripe because of the paint (maybe even a red one since car was red before) ..im going to try using the razor tomoro but what should i do so i dont scratch everything under? Just start on a spot that wont show to much or something? God i hate ricers.. Look at all the shit i have to do now to make my car look fuking normal again :(

Well, as stripes go, that's not really a terribly one. I mean, it's not white or some billious contrasting color. If it's over a repaint, I'd fear lifting paint with it. Best of luck, though. You might try a credit card for a scraper, should be easier on the paint than a razor blade. You know about un-do adhesive remover? Wal*Mart.

The stripe isnt to bad but i hate all that show BS and on top of that it says GSX so...Whats that un-do addhessive remover is that the real name LOL? Any one know an exact name im ganna go look for something like that at wal mart.

there is an adhesive remover made by 3M. it's a citrus based remover. i swear to god that shit works miracles. when i bought my car the guy before had a checked flag thing going across the hood (from the right corner light to the left behind the fender well about 8 inches wide) then he had all these product names and irdc stickers put on. he also had a big windshield banner that said "white diamond" on it. i took a razor and easily took a corner off the sticker, then pulled it up the rest by hand. i sprayed that 3M adhesive remover on there and let it sit for about 10 mins, come out with a rag and wiped it right off. the car looked perfect.

That 3M sounds good, I'll look for it. The other product is really named un-do, and interestingly enough, it's cetane. That's the fuel additive they use in diesel to make it burn more easily, kind of the opposite to tetraethyl lead in gas, back then. I don't know how rough it'd be on the paint, though- I like the sound of the 3M stuff.

Holy Sh!t that thing is stuck on there ... i started around the back so it wouldnt look to messed up if i just gave up. Thank God i did that that thing will not come off! I actually got some off this time but not even an inch and i was ther messing with is for like half an hour. Im just ganna leave it i guess and try again another day when its hotter (im going to park it outside to instead of under my little shelter thing).

time for a carbon fiber hood.
