hello, I'm busy putting my quwhees widebody kit om my 98 eclipse spyder, but my question was, how do I calculate wich rim to buy ( offset and size 8, 8.5 or 9) can someone help me with this???

And how much clearance do I need between the tire and the fender??? Do I need a coilover suspension??? and do I need bushings??

Please help me !!!!!!!!!

someone in need of help !!!!!! :(

I'm no expert but I think you'll want to do some measuring to determine the best width wheel to work with the widebody. Hopefully someone else can explain the best way to do this.

My guess would be something around 10" wide in a RWD offset, but like I said you will want to measure to determine the best offset.

haha iono. mines gettin put on right nowi'll let you know when i get my rims but i dont suggest lowering your car any. your oil pan is offly close to the ground as it is.

I realize that this post is a little old, but it did not appeat to get answered. Instead of buying wheels with an offset I bought 1.5 inch wheel adapters for the rears. Technically they don't adapth anything since it is the same bolt pattern on both parts of the adapter but it does space the wheels out nicely.
