Lc1 wideband, to be setup to Gauge only, no logging (new bung location)

1. Should the gauges black ground wire be with the LC1s blue ground?

2. Should the LC1s white wire be connected to the ECU sensor ground (pin 92) or is it better to have it grounded with the blue ground wire? I've heard both as "recommended."

3. Where to get a good ground? I plan to use a spot somewhere on the frame behind the kick panel. Is that fine?

For number 3 I have my grounds in the metal frame by the stereo. I can't remember how I have mine wired up for the gauge right now. But I also have it wired for logging too. If question 2 and 3 aren't answered by the end of tomorrow I'll post pictures. But for the most part the instructions were pretty straight forward. Especially if your not logging.

Yeah that's where I plan to ground mine.. And all the instructions on tuners seem straight forward but LC1s instructions make it seem like a big deal and very specific (in regards to how and where you ground your wires).

See answers.

1. Should the gauges black ground wire be with the LC1s blue ground? Doesn't matter.

3. Where to get a good ground? I plan to use a spot somewhere on the frame behind the kick panel. Is that fine? You can use the metal brackets behind the kick panel. Just make sure there's no paint in the way. Ideally you'd test the ground with a multimeter.

Yeah couldn't have done it without that guide LOL.. Luckily I didn't mess up my install. Now I just have to learn what the numbers mean, I know 14.7 is ideal at idle but other than that I'm clueless.

If you have no tuning done, you'll probably see around 9.6-9.8 at WOT. A good gas AFR to tune for at WOT is 11:1.

I'll check it out today after work, I actually have not driven the car in almost 2 months in fear that my tune is going to kill my motor. (I suspected my tune was off)

Was it difficult to Install it on the gauge cluster?

What do you mean? The gauge simply slid into the hole and was a perfect fit, no bolts or anything holding it in

Pictures as promised, sorry Mona Lisa is a little dirty.

You can see where the purple and red wire run to.

And where the wires appear under the dash.

All of the other wires are a little harder to see, but they take the same route

I also have my lc-1 grounded to the metal panel behind the kick plate, its been there for a few years and no issues so its a good place to have it grounded
