earlier this week I had a fuel leak after taking my intake off to install map sensor and bung in uicp for speed density. tonight I finally got it fixed, installed my wideband over the weekend and wiredit into my front o2 sensor ecu pin. also hooked up my afpr finally so I have a steady 37 psi base fuel pressure. I noticed while I was logging that my combined fuel trims weren't moving and my wideband was staying at 7.5 although my actual wideband in the car was moving around. tried to do adjust my mafcomp and get my airflow per rev down to .25 couldn't get it any lower then .28 to .30.

It seems to me you have a bad connection between the wideband and ECU. I would check the connection between whichever pin you used, the ECU grounds, and the ground from the gauge itself.

sounds good on the 1g theres only the front o2, however I am going to check for a wiring diagram to see if I can't see what other wire on that plug would be white. also I will try the free air cal again. I know my connection to the ecu was a good one as I soldered it. I am using the metal framing around the radio and ecu for my ground. and a location in the interior fuse box for my power.

I really don't wanna admit this on here but possibly save someone else from a mistake, just took a second look at the ecu pins on ecmtuning wiki. as we both know brian I just started getting the knock issue in the last week after doing the wideband install. well the wideband and the knock sensor pin are on the same loom/connector and they are both white wires. If it did no damage I am just going to laugh this one off and chalk one more life lesson learned

If you wired it into the knock sensor, that'd be a first I've heard that I think ROFL

LOL looking at the pin out diagram. knock sensor is pin 9 and front o2 is pin 4 both white and both 4 away from the end. I just cut the 4th one from the wrong end :banghead:

just walked outside to double check(really wish I had a steering wheel that came off) its def. the knock sensor.

yea I just got it all wired up correctly I am a little concerned about the knock sensor wiring. as I cut it deep down into the wiring loom. so I could have as much wire as I could to work with soldering wise. when I took a look at it last night looked as if someone had hacked into it before so I had little to no room to work with on it and they had a bare piece of wire coming up and looping around it not sure what it was for so left it in place and kept 3/16ths of an inch to solder to. but I got it all wired back up bout to go do a log and see if things are good. crossing my fingers.

the wideband is working finally, made some adjustments to my maf comp to get the air flow per rev down to .25 but my combined fuel trim was staying around 20 percent, I need to go check the video out on how to get that down closer too zero. seems its back to basic any tips or advice?

LOL yea the 1 percent has been driving me nuts I did it last week and got it down from 3 percent. need to actually adjust my throttle cable since I forgot how it needed to be when I took my intake off last week and put it back on. I will probably do it all in the morning before I go to get my daughter, the wind is pretty furious right now outside.

yea running 37 just got it set last night, believe I switched it over for awhile I had a 2g fpr on it with no real point to it other then to try and combat the 255 fuel pump, so i had adjusted my global to that was running better that way as well. I believe I changed it back though to 37 let me go check.

new log after I adjusted dead time I tried to do tps adjust and it shows in the log when I shut the car off it is at 0 but with it on it stays at 1 percent. It has to be my actual adjustment in my throttle cable does anyone have the thread showing how to adjust it?

here is the log made some adjustments while it was running you will probably notice them while watching the log.

and 05 05 is a 2nd gear wot pull

car feels funny exspecially anything over 55 on the interstate, I feel a heavy vibration in the pedal it kind of varies on different pavements.
