Why can I do this

Since I've owned my car I have never had to recirculate my BOV (except when I was bone stock). I just bought my GReddy FIC, all piping, and a GReddy TYPE-S BOV and never had a problem at idle or any loss of power, how come I'm able to do this and nobody else.

I have no MAFT.
No DSM link.......Nothin. Still using stock MAS airflow sensor.

Any ideas on why my car's so weird, but cool?

No, I don't have a logger. All i know is that someone had obviously fixed up the car and put the stock parts back on it before they sold it. Example: my strut tower covers in the back have holes drilled in them where i guess they had a bar running across, and boy does is really suck when you buy .20 over pistons and the machine shop teels you that your block has already been bored .40 over. Also, I don't know if this has anything to do with it but, I have a little rectangular black box under my steering wheel area held with zip-ties wired into the ECU. Only thing is that it has a wire with what looks to be a reset switch so I figuered it to be an old disfunctional alarm system.

I have done so much stuff to my car and nothing has effected my recirculating situation.
