Slowboy built my motor, runs great, never had a single problem, all tolerances in spec, so far 1500miles and a year later, its been pulled, not because of a problem but because of a much needed traction upgrade, I dont know why you guys have to bag on people so bad....

Not one single business is perfect, and every business has an small slip up every once in a while, I'll go against the vote. SBR, give them a shot and check out my pics of my build in my gallery and on the link i provide in my profile.. Thanks again slowboY!

I agree. I had Jackson build my motor and I went to their shop. I live close to them. All they are is your basic rinky dink garage and I mean garage in the back of someones house. Its so bad it takes you 10 minutes to get up their driveway from the pot holes. Not that you need a huge buisness to build motors , but I was expecting more than a 1 car garage. They fed me a bunch of bull and gave me a used oil pump/front case that was already installed after I paid like $190 for it. . I asked about the specs and clearences on my motor and they told me they didnt have them and that they do them all the same. You would think you would get a spec sheet or something. Anyway..They put eagle rods in my block when it was supposed to get Manleys ect. The list goes on and on. My opinion is they are very over priced and dont do anything special to justify the cost. Same basic build as everyone else. They really rubbed me the wrong way with the front case and the rods. I havent installed the motor yet so only time will tell. Next build is Buschar or Curt Brown.

We've got 3000+ square feet here. A little more than a dinky one car garage ROFL I thought this thread was supposed to be about engines, not who's got the shiniest shop :ohdamn: Even still, you've got not room for bashing since you haven't even run the engine yet!! If there was a problem with the pump we'd have replaced it if given the opportunity.
