Recently i just got my 95 awd eclipse back. I had mitsu do a complete new block, fixed the warped head, new head gasket, and transfer case. Anyway, i hit over the 1,000 mi mark on the new block and have ran into a problem. One sat night, 50 degree temp, i had been driving for about an 1 1/2 and parked to wait for a buddy. After about 5-10 at idle, white smoke started pouring out of the exhaust system. I have to expect a coolant related problem? I shut off the car and started it back up in about 5 minutes. Smoke gone. After driving around for a bit, i parked and once again after 5 minutes of idle it did the same thing but the smoke was very dense. The next day, i ran the hell outta it but no white smoke. But i took it up to mitsu the following monday and they basically told me they couldn't do anything unless a)throwing a code b)producing white at the time. Well i went the whole week, no problems. This saturday rolled around and the same thing happened. Only now it almost does it everytime i idle. Anyone have any clue why this might be? Here in a few hours i plan to take it to mitsu once again. Just thought maybe the fine tuners here might have ran into this or heard of this a time or two. any advice?
