White Paint job

Hey guys quick question; my car can just a paint job. It is the stock white color but the front bumper is a black one and the fenders have some chips. My question is should I respray it stock white or does someone out there have a nicer white to suggest. Maybe a pearl white? What do you guys think?

Go to a paint store and take a look at their different whites. A few years back I painted a car "Pepsi" white. Brightest white available. Beautiful in the sun.

Pepsi white, I haven't heard of it but it sounds cool. Thanks for the suggestion. Do you guys think a pearl white is too "luxury" and just a nice bright white suits the car better?

Oh yea and what do you guys consider the brightest white out there to paint a car?

Also, are you looking to have a plain white, por do you want one with a small amount of metal fleck in it? I have seen some whites with a smnall gold fleck that shines in the sun.

Metal Flake would be cool. But I am just looking for opinions on which white would look best on a 2g. Brightest, shiniest, whatever you think would look good.

Looks like my estimate came a litle high so for now, until i can get the funds up, I will be spraying the bumper (its black and my cars white yuck ). The bumper is the plastic/urethane kind they sell at certifit and I want to spray it white. I have heard that rustoleum and even engine enamel leaves a good shine on it and can take the abuse from the sun. Any suggestions? Also for prepping it I heard just to clean it real well maybe scuff it a bit and then some adhesive promoter, paint then clear. Does this sound right? The bumper is black and has no primer at all on it. Thanks for the help.

Just an FYI the Metal Flake that you see in cars is called Pearl and it looks amazing, thats what i have in my car. I would say to go Pepsi white with Pearl in it. It would look amazing if you did it that way. It would make the white stand out more than any other white cars. But really the best option for you would to go to a store and look at all the different whites there are and choose that way so you know that you will be 100% happy with your decision after its completed and you will be excited when you see your car completely done.
