Hey I'm looking to get a wideband soon. I was wondering what you guys would recommend running. I was debating between the aem uego or the innovate lc-1.

That is a good question. I know one of my friends told me that he prefers the AEM and has heard reports that the sensors for those are supposed to last longer.

I do not have one on my car yet but I am running the innovate setup for my logger on my 08 Hayabusa and it works great.

I tell people to go with Innovate if there is a choice. I personally have the LC-1

If you are planning to use ECMLink, don't be afraid to put the wideband in the stock location in the o2 housing. You'll have better response, you can simulate narrow band, sensor isn't going to die from too much heat either.

I run NB Sim without issues and so do many other people.

I have both and they both do there job . One thing I have to say though is I find that I have to do free air calibration more often with the lc-1 to get the afr correct readings. I say go for the best deal price wise.

They are both right around the same price, so i was wondering what people were thinking with experience. I have friends that run both of them, but never really say anything good or bad about them.

I have the AEM. It reads accurately as far as i can tell. The only problem i have with it is logging with mmcd. The readings on the logger are, For example, At idle the afr is 14.6-7 on the gauge, On the logger it is 16.6. I have read that you can get an input buffer from ECMtuning,

From ECMTuning's site:
"The problem is that some of these ECU inputs are incompatible with certain aftermarket sensors. In particular, the 1G EGR temperature input and the 2G/EVO1-3 baro input have pull up/pull down resistor configurations that many sensors are not capable of driving properly. The solution to this is to “buffer” the input so that the sensor is not directly driving the ECU's input"

I dont know if the innovate guys have these problems or not, But i would like to know.

I guess I would be that guy.LOL Honestly just shop around not just in the dsm crowd I always seem to get my wide bands cheap as there are vendors willing to sell them for cheap. How cheap depends on how well you bargain.:sneaky:

i just bought my lc-1 for under $170 brand new through an ebay vendor and was here within a week.

I just bought the aem uego. Installation is supposed to be easy, as well as operation. Let you know when I install it after it gets here.

I bought and installed my AEM Uego it was really self explanatory I bought it used with no instruction but it came with all the parts I have yet to combine it with my future planned to buy ECMlink but it should be easy as you hook the white wire to one of the ecm wires guess but I hooked power to my cig lighter as it was easy to access and also shuts off when my car does.

all together it took me maybe an hour to route, wire, and test everything and I'm very happy with it
