Which Pistons to use??

if your looking for a street killing pump gas monster, id see if he can do something more like a 8:3:1-8:5:1 CR personally. 9:0:1 is nice, but if your not really gonna ever see racegas, you might like something a little lower. Wish i had the money for that shit, im parting my car out because I cant afford it anymore hehe =|

I am lokin for some extra gas mileage also. Can't run inboost all the time. We have 112 leaded available during the summer months. Interstate cruising with the boost lowered and a 9:1 should be fine. I need an all around car so compromising is needed. Ifte block gets built with an 8.5:1 that's OK too! Mark

2g is 8.5:1, 1g is 7.8:1.

i dont mean to barge in, but that doesnt sound right, in my owners manual it says i have 9:1 compression. or were you ONLY refering to the turbo one, because thats what it says for turbo. you had me confused there

Ross are 8 grams +-1 than Wisecos, and are still lighter than stock I believe.

I agree. FYI stock 6 bolts pistons and rods 1156.66 grams
ross/eagle combo 1009.24 grams
that equals about 147.42 each less.
