Which way does the oil catch can go???

ok i bought this filter at autozone idk if u can see the white arrow its pointing to the left is that the right way to put it on or no

Your box should say, mine which is a different filter and is clear and has a arrow and sais to carb and that should face away from the valve cover. So, in short im guessing the arrow goes away from the valve cover.

Yeah you want the flow going away from the VC, that way it will filter the flow out, that sounded better in my head.

I used a Fram G2, but that one in the pic looks better. I have a "real" catch can now anyway.

Ugh, I feel like an idiot. I thought the PCV and the breather hose flowed the opposite way, so I had it backwards. No wonder the catch can never really caught anything, and I still got oil in my intake .

Nice-- I like the compactness of it. I had some trouble fitting a full-sized one into the engine bay.

They are all clear and the arrow should point AWAY from the valve cover.

There are MANY types. The cheapest I have found was a longer hose that simply points down to the pavement.
