Which Head Gasket to Use 92 Talon TSI 6 Bolt

Ok so This car fell Victim to a balance shaft seal which was leaking oil. After getting into it a little further i realized it was time for a rebuild i recently just got the block back from the machine shop which it was acid dropped but was in good shape along with the head which was cleaned but neither the block or the head was decked. The car had great compression before disassemble but the problem is i don't know what head gasket to use ive heard a few people say over the internet that the cosmetic they have had problems with, and i know that i need a gasket with flouroelastometer rubber base to ensure a good seal. I don't really know what is appropriate for this situation

Also i am tore because extremepsi has a great package that includes a cosmetic mls gasket and ARP head studs for 155 so i think that may be the way to go

Use the proven multi layer steal mitsubishi or felpro(or even a composite one) gasket, but thats a pretty good deal on a decent gasket.

from what i have researched unless you have had the head and or engine reserfaced (decked) which shaves down the top of the block/ bottom of the head to creat a very even flat surface, then you should stick to OEM because of the thickness of the cometic headgaskets could create a clearance issue. But of course this is only second hand info. But from what i researched you should have the head/block decked with in certain perameters and use a cometic metal headgasket to make up for the distance. again, just research.

Have the machine shop deck the head and block and run a Mitsubishi MLS head gasket with ARP head studs.

Also, there is a certain smoothness to which the surfaces must be prepared.
