ya uhmm thats the kind of weather that i like to be in. cant wait to find out what is wrong with her though i pick up my full tein suspension kit , and apexi bov tomorrow and i havent gotten the seats put in cause i was going to do that tonight but ya that got delayed... ordered the suspension today and had it overnighted so i could put it on tomorrow morning.

Yup California is nice for the weather. But for a car enthusiast, it is the biggest pain in the world to build a car here. We have such strict laws about SMOG so you can't get away with anything here because they actually have been kinda trained to spot illegal mods. They'll even pull the too low, too loud, too dark cards out on you.

For example of a bad cop here in the Bay Area. My brother works for a company that builds patrol cars and installs security systems at businesses like EA and lasty GPS systems for Triple AAA. He asked the Fremont PD cops about a guy named Officer Rosetti (You Bay Area people know who I'm talking about) and even his co-workers hate that guy because of the lack of courtesy for his fellow officers and families. He's ticketed someone for missing one hubcap before. Now imagine what he does to fixed up imports.

So yeah California is the ish for the weather, but for tuners, it pretty much sucks IMO. Unless you got the right contacts and a lot of cash.

I lived in San Diego, so I know what you're talking about EventsCO21XL. They have this underground race team, which isn't a race team at all called Drag net. I think that's there name, anyways they are the cops riding around in impounded tuner cars. Bastards!

ya i just picked up the suspension and the apexi bov today from teh shop but i was driving the car to have it looked at tonight and guess what??? the engine blew on me. piston went right through the back of the block and oil poored out everywhere so ya.. my boy though said he is going to hook me up with a built motor from sbr.. and i dont even have to pay for it ..

he had no choice but to buy me a new motor because the mechanic we believe is the one that messed up mine. it wasnt running bad at all until he did the timing belt and tranny work on mine. so i told him well if we going to replace it might as well get the best.
