ok so i talked to SBR today for about 2 hours.. i went with an engine build that will put my car in the 9's with almost 1000 awhp... im ordering it friday woot and they said it would only take a couple of weeks to build it for me. Im getting a dsm link and a much bigger BB turbo from them also. ill keep you guys updated thanks

well when the army gave me a $40,000 bonus i have nothing else to spend it on but my car. and yes i am aware about that but i have gone over the whole DD with SBR and they assure me that it will not break. They told me that even if it does then it has a warranty on it so im good. and no im not a trust fund baby.. ! i work hard for everything that i got. work hard play harder

P.S= i didnt get a gi bill because i alrdy had a college loan so they paid that off for me.. =)

I just might join the army. Well they do say this about DSM's...Cheap, fast, reliable: Pick two. You can MAKE it fast and reliable, if you don't mind the cash, and you my friend, are not shorthanded when it comes to that. So you might be in the clear.

haha about the leaving it to you in my will thats to funny.. !! well its a stage 4 bottom end with a stage 6 head. it will hold about 60psi and produce up to 1000hp and be my 9sec DD. It was pretty expensive. . i bought all the best possible parts for this motor. im going with a gt35r BB turbo upgrade and a dsm link to tune the car! i got a pretty big discount on all of it and even got a military discount. woot. !! i can take up to 7 weeks to build! ill post pics of it when i get it in.

ahhh thats cool hmmm i should get me some carbon fiber doors that would be sick.. my friend has a completely carbon fiber 350z!! its pretty sick!

I've seen quite a few carbon fiber z's around here. The high end performance cars around here are usually the only ones done right. A few supras in town, same for the Z, one or two EVO's, and a Subie here and there. DSM's are usually n/t, but every now and then you hear that sweet VROM PSH, as a clean 2g passes you on the interstate.

around here it is mostly hondas.. then you got the 240s and the tru right side drive silvias.. then its the dsms not to many of us around. im the only one that has a talon like mine around here and there is another 1g that rolls around that i have talked to!! most of everything around here is boosted but its not done right. there is only one shop in town with a awd dyno and they dont know how to tune worth a crap. there mechanic is 17 yrs old and does not know what hes doing. so you cant really trust them to tune anything because they havent figured out there software and noone wants them to touch there car.

Right now i have a 97 talon and me and a firend of mines did a trade where i get the black housing headlights and 99 bumpers plus 200 for mine talon 2gb bumper i am not going to lie i love the eclipse bumper better for some reason

ohhh man the talon bumper is much more sexy!!! with out a doubt there is to many eclipse and not enough talons rolling around.. please go get your bumper back

I would not let any 17 year old work on my car (unless they're some genius mechanic), much less tune it haha. I'm 18 myself. Why let another kid work on my car. You really don't see many 240's around here. It's strange because everywhere else seems to have way too many.
