Get some hood pins for your CF hood =D. Bake your headlights open and paint the housings black. Would go well with the CF hood, black Talon top, wing and rims.

i got some niteshade paint for the taillights its just that i havent gotten around to it yet..:thumb:

yup but now im having some engine problems it just started to act up so im going to have to take a look at it tomorrow or something because its night time outside. maybe its time for a built motor. :thumb:

Glad to see the 2ga headlights on there man, I love your car. I do agree though, paint the housings of them black, and your car will look so mean that little kids will pee their pants.

EDIT: What kind of gauges do you have? Just curious :D

i got the autometer cobalt guages. not the c2's because those are 2 bright but the first series of them. ya i just didnt get around to painting them yet.. ill ###### do that tomorrow after i get it fixed because for some reason its not running right.. it was doing fine and then out of nowhere it started to run like crap so we got to fix it tomorrow night i guess. yay LOL

I was going to get a set of the c2's but everyone says the same thing you did. Now I'm looking into the prosports, I just really like them.

Did you fill it with 87 octane? That would be a real good explanation.

no i only use 93 octane in my car.. its turbo 87 would tear it apart.. car would barely start with that garbage in there. :nono:

of course i changed all that when i did the timing belt and the water pump...

cel has been on since i have bought the car but i have not taken it to get it read yet.. i say go with a built engine is my solution to this problem LOL

Well I disagree slightly. Upgrading normally does not solve the problem, merely causes more. It might be something electrical, just a sensor or something throwing it off. Run the code and fix the problems, THEN build your engine :D

how about i just replace the whole engine bay.. that would fix everything with it... LOL buy a brand new harness, sensors, built motor, ect...

Here you go with the money is no object thing, hahahahaha. Yes you could do that, and while your at it, I'll take a EVO III 16g, 510's, a 190 FP, DSMlink V2 , and a hallman pro for Christmas LOL thanks.

But yes that could definetly solve your problem.

haha thats a pretty decent christmas list.. LOL to bad i alrdy got my 16g LOL !!! but ya im going to have to see what the problem is the car as you can tell before i bought it was wrecked on the passenger side so i might as well have that fixed right while im at it also. who knows we will see and ill keep ya updated on what im going to do bro. there is no way that i will let the car go though. all my friends keep telling me to sell it but im like uhmm no its the only talon around so i got to keep it and i have put to much time into it just to let it go. and i was looking at the underbody last night when i was doing the exhaust and there is not 1 spot of rust on it so its got a really clean shell. i think it has like 2 small rust spots on the whole car and that is it. :thumb:

Yeah, I only wish santa were real cause, working two jobs and being a full time college student, and paying a car note, does not leave much spare cash. I'm glad your sticking with it, I know alot of friends who have gotten a DSM and sold it because they were tired of them breaking. I would not let my GST go for anything less than a GSX or TSI AWD that is completely unmolested. Run your CEL code though, you might be surprised by how little the problem could be. And you got pretty lucky on this one, especially having a good shop hookup.

ya i did he gave me a good deal when i bought the car from him and he fronts me the parts also that makes things better. hes always giving things to me at his cost or not much higher. its pretty nice and the mechanic does not cost much neither but he really knows what hes doing. and ya ill check the cel codes and try and find out whats up with it. :thumb:

Well if for some reason I ever end up in Indiana, I'll remember to bring some cash and your friend can hook me up too haha. Yeah it's always good to know people!

EDIT: We REALLY need a good local shop around here :(

ya indiana is awesome but it gets to cold to early. its alrdy dropping down to the 40s here and it sucks. but atleast all the cars run cooler so gg on the better performance we can push out of them...ROFL
