ahhh yes tuesday will be a wonderful day we did the timing belt, water pump, tensioner, spark plugs,wires, spark plug wire cover, clutch and flywheel today. pretty much all we got left is to drop in the tranny, seats, exhaust, and bolt on the hood and it should be about ready!!!!! will be beautiful like art when done. Also my TurboXS BOV will be in tomorrow i do believe so i cannot wait to slap that on there so she screams. i feel bad for all the hondas that live by me haha. what you think of the bumper?

Believe me, you will see it, and fall in love. Happens to all of us, including me, and I always said nothing be Mitsu bumpers. I lied hehe.

thanks guys the car is almost complete we dropped the tranny in it this morning and did the time belt last night. i also just picked up my apexi n1 turbo back exhaust system just waiting on the seat brackets now...

ok so the car is almost done i got about 4 more hours of work that im going to be finishing up tomorrow night. the only thing that did not come in yet is the seat brackets. =( ill be posting pictures of the finished product at about 11pm tomorrow night. =) so i hope... just got a few simple things left to do.

i think the talon is more rare that is why i did not do the conversion on my car. i was going to but then i got to thinking well there is really no other talons where i live so i decided to leave it how it is. way to many eclipse though.

Looks good man. Did you pre-fit your bumper first before having it painted? You may have to trim a little for your FMIC.

yes i did pre-fit it up to make sure the fmic would clear it just incase i had to cut some of it. its perfect i couldnt be any more happier...

and THAT is exactly why I suggested this bumper. It will get 10000x more looks than just the 2gb eclipse. You rarely see the talons anymore because of everyone converting. I have half a mind to change my eclipse to a talon. Haha can't wait till tonight, it's gonna be sweet.

It's probably because your phone saves it as a different file than what photobucket accepts. I'm glad you stuck with the 2gb talon bumpers. I'm kind of partial to them, though.

here is some progress that we are making tonight on the car its looking good. only problem is that i have to run tomorrow and buy the front piece to mount the bumper onto in between the headlights so the car complete until tomorrow but heres what we got right now...

yes the gap between them and the bumper is only about a half an inch so its really no bid deal to me..i just really like the black housings ...

Yeah it's sad they never made them for the talon/2ga eclipse. It makes the front end look much cleaner. I think it will look alright. Things like that would bug the crap out of me until I became diagnosed with insomnia though .

its really not that bad i thought that i wasnt going to like it but then when i realized how little the gap was i seemed to not mind it. but hey atleast i got the bumper ... thats really all that matters to me. she should look good im hoping when all done tomorrow.. im way to excited i doubt that i sleep tonight and if i do itll be very little.

my apexi bov will be in tomorrow morning so that will also be getting installed and im eliminating the recirculation on it also..

Good choice on the BOV, I want to invest in a new one, but I have the Greddy Type S. That thing is near impossible to find and I just can't see myself parting ways with it. Man these seat brackets are a PITA. Lol they're holding up the big show. I knew the gap would not be big. I had a set of 97 projectors on my N/t about two years ago and back then I did not care one bit.

Word of advice, NYQUIL, it works wonders.

ya im ordering a new set of seat brackets today from corbeau and they do overnight shipping for free so ill have them installed tomorrow.. on the nyquil.. good stuff.. all i got left to do that we didnt finish last night is mount the hood, bumper, and put the exhaust on it.. well of course still waiting for those freakin seat brackets. i ordered a set once and they gave me the wrong ones.. just my luck i guess..
