Where to Start off with

So im buying a 92 gsx .. stock and the motor is great .. im kinda new to the dsm scene ..i bought a 2006 wrx so im used to the awd ha ha . but im going to get my gsx faster than that . where do i start with performance parts i know the usual fuel , exhaust .and a good tune but i mean i want to have at least 300 hp to the wheels any input will help ... i know the potential these cars have so yea .. what should i start with??????thanks for the input thanks

I think what white92 is saying, is that most n00bs come onto this forum and just look at going fast. You need to do proper maintenance on the car before you think about making it fast. I'm sure if you search it, you'll find what maintenance things there are to tale care of

ahhh ok i get it and search yea this thing is confusing ha ha like i said im new but not to awd turbos i have a wrx which is pretty fast but i still owe the bank so i dont want to mess with it all that much any more i know that maintenance

All maintence meaning gaskes, boost leak teats, belts, and all the basics. Don't worry bout going fast til you know your car is ready.

And after that, if you have any questions, search for your answer before starting a general/generic thread, because chances are, it's already been covered here.
