So i took of my front plate mount thing today and the screw got broken in and i cant get it out LOL. is it illegal to just put it in my windshield?

I got 11 warnings and 1 ticket for no front plate. now i have a sticker of my plate on my bumper. it gets a lot of attention but i haven't been stoped for it yet.

thats frickin awesome, its a sticker!? I was wondering how you bent the plate to fit the contours of your cars bumper. props man:hellyeah::thumb:

did you make that yourself, that could be a great solution for rear mounting plate, you can place it wherever you want without having to cut and bondo to make a bezel for it.

one of my friends has a vynal cutter. the white is reflective like the real one. he made me promis not to tell where i got it. my brother in law is a retired cop. he said if i get an ass hole cop that plate could come with a $1200 fine and up to 6 months in jail for a fictitious plates.

Well we wouldn't have to know...we could just send you $$$ and info and you could get them done for us :)

I don't think anyone on here mention why it's illegal. Reason is cops need to identify the vehicle front and back clearly with nothing to prevent it from being seen. Do cars from factory mount plates slanted or inside the window? No. How reflective is the plate inside the windshield at night?
I don't know bout other states but in Cali as long as the plates are 6 inches in height it's legal. So what my nephew did since he has a front mount. He shim the edges down so they look like those European plates just the number/letters are showing. But the back plate is unmodified.
