hey everyone sorry for the "noob" question, but i'm going to buy a frontmount intercooler for my gsx on friday and was wondering what/where can i find the brackets i will need to mount it. only asking because the one i was looking at on ebay said mounting brackets required for instalation.. any recomendations?

yeah, running the t-25 for now, but i do plan on upgrading after i get a little more money i just wanted to get rid of those stock rubber tubes.. i feel like they give less air flow. so if i were to buy L brackets form home deopt or lowes where do they mount? would they reach the frame?

Definately go to Ace/Home Depot/Lowes/ possibly even walmart depending what they have in framing/interior home supplies

Preferably something like this so you have adjustability

If you didnt buy the intercooler yet, just get a Punishment Racing kit. Its under $400. Comes with everything. Most people say it pretty much a bolt-on kit. Also there are people running a T-25 with a fmic.

ebay intercooler?..no way man... :notgood:

They are going to be just as mucha as a VRSF or Punishment.

It would be in anyones best interest to do that vs a kit you are going to have to

modify and make brackets and etc.. etc.. not to mention Proven Quality

thanks to "whyadsm" i looked around for different FMIC's but unless i want to pay over 1000 for one the one you suggest is the best by far. i will be making the payment for the kit you suggested this friday, and will hopefully receive in the mail by next week. i will upload a photo after my alterations have been made. thank you again.:thumb:

I would hold off on the front mount install untill you upgrade the turbo..A 13g, or 14b, would be a cheap turbo upgrade..If you want direct bolt on turbo, the FP t28 is also an option but is more pricey..

don't be scared just get in there and take your time, have another car in case you need to do a hardware store run.
