I am currently changing my timing belt and i am about to install the new belt, however, i cannot locate the timing mark on the crank pulley. Can someone please help me.

sorry to bring this back up, but i have the crank pulley back installed on my 6 bolt. all four bolts are in, but there is on smaller hole there too. does this have to be lined up with something? does it matter? thanks
You have probably pushed the little dowel inside the timing belt pulley. If you tightened the accessory pulley onto the the timing belt pulley without making sure the dowel was inside the alignment hole then you simply pushed it into the timing belt pulley. No harm done.
