Where did you mount your remote oil pressure gauge sensor?

Land speeds is involved? It's two AN fittings to a T.

I got the extreme psi one. And i got some cable clamps like landspeed, just drill it to frame rail done.

Not as in complex, but just very permanent.

I was wondering if there were any spots that wouldn't require something so permanent. I'm sorry if I'm overcomplicating this. I have the extreme psi kit as well.

Depending on the size hose you have you can virtually mount it any damn where as long as youkeep the hose away from any belts. I'd mount it where you can see it easily for a couple tanks of gas, then move it out of sight when you can verify it isn't leaking and there are no problems with it.

Zip ties will work but I wouldn't consider them a permanent deal just fyi. The heat cycles they go through will make them brittle if they aren't of quality.

I made an oil manifold so all I had hanging off the OFH was one AN fitting for a SS line. SS line goes to a AN- Y, one side to the turbo, and the other to the manifold. I have the idiot lite sender, stock sender, and autometer sender all on it. Away from the engine vibration, not hanging down to get ripped off by a rock, and is easy to get to.

Just made a small L bracket and it's next to the rad on the frame rail. Have to look at landspeeds pics.

Mines set up more like snowboarders pic. Almost in the same place.

And yes, I realize it should be BSP instead of NPT

Before the current Autometer electrical oil pressure gauge, I had a Nordskog digital and an electric SPI. The Nordskog was erratic after awhile (would read 3psi at idle without the low pressure light coming on), and on the SPI the needle would basically swing back an forth constantly after warming up. When I took out the SPI sender, it actually came apart. No problems since remote mounting the sender.

Mine was zip tied for a season and it held up fine. Just make sure to keep the zip ties away from big sources of heat.

Mine is now held on with an Adel clamp, those are the clamps with rubber inside them. I feel it offers an extra bit of protection.

What do you guys think? Appropriate spot?

Mine's on the other side of the frame rail (same area as LandSpeed).

I want to do this setup, Question: if i run a restrictor at the bottom of the T right before the sensor, how much more pressure will I lose by the time the oil gets to the turbo?

I have mine ziptied to the two oil cooler lines for now. will mount it in a similar spot and run wire through the power steering (behind headlight) are. I have the evo kit from AMS.
