where did you mount your msd dis-2?

Looking for examples ( preferably with pics) of where you mounted your msd.

WEll, Although i have no direct pics unless i search through the many engine bay shots i've had i did have mine mounted in 3 different places

1st was under the air filter placement on a stock 2g (had filter relocated)

2nd when i put the filter back to OEM placement, I took a piece of diamond plate and mounted it to that which i mounted to the firewall right above where the battery sat from the factory (i lowred the battery to the transmission top)

3rd, when i wanted to clean up the bay some i ran the wires in through the area of the steering column boot and then put the MSD under the drivers seat. this worked well but so did all the others.. IT seemsto say something about not mounting it in the engine bay but i've seen most of them mounted there in my time be it the old 6AL or the DIS units. I've also got afriend who removed the factory amp and put his under the driver seat, and another friend who mounted his in the glovebox, but he had to hack the glovebox all to hgell to get it to fit

Main thing i've seen cause issues is mounting them too close to the ECU or running their high voltage feeds too close to the crank trigger wires when they aren't properly insulated and shielded

I've relocated my battery and I thought about mounting my dis2 on the firewall where the battery was.

It has plenty of holes drilled in the glove box for ventilation so it won't over heat.
