when to get ecmlink?

alright i was woundering when a good time in upgrade to get it. Because i dont think theres any shops local that tunes these, and my first upgrade i want to do it 2g MAS and wideband02 so it will need to be tuned.
 
You can also get Jackle + Ostrich. ECMLink is an upgrade for sure as it will allow you to monitor the wideband o2 through the ECU and when you order, you can select it to be used with the 2g MAS. You just need a laptop to tune ECMLink and I'm sure if there are any locals near you, they would help you out if you ask nicely and have an incentive *ahem* case of beer *ahem* (legal age of course). It's not too difficult to learn Link and there is a forum on ECMLink to help out with tuning as well as the members on here. You'll be alright.

Getting it now will allow you to squeeze out every last usable breath out of your turbo as well as lean out the fuel table a bit. Stock fuel trims run a bit rich so you would theoretically save some gas after tuning for stock.

the order of what you need to get first out of the parts ,that you want:

1 EcmLink
2 Wideband o2
3 2g Maf
4 190lph Walboro fuel pump
5 bigger injectors at least (550's)

thats the order you should go with.because, if you upgrade a 2g maf first ,you will be pushin more air,so you will need a bigger injectors.So after you will get injectors,your car will be runnin shi*y.

But if you want to tune the stock setup via EcmLink,it's not worth of buying it.....

What is this 190 crap. If you are going to upgrade it then do it right with either a wally 255 or the better choice a bosch 044.

Just look what the guy asked,and then jump over and say something.... He said about 2g maf and wideband o2 But to run a 2g maf properly in 1g,you need a minor fuel upgrade as 550.s,so,thats why i said 190lph fuel pump.......
 
Thanks all. Ive been thinking about it cause i know sometime in my life i want to get alot more upgrades so i figure i might as well get ecmlink insted of spending on pocketloggers and safc or what not. thanks again p.s i ###### would go with 255 just cause i know ill need it in the long run, i look at what ill someday need and try to get it if i can.

I know this, but he said he has future plans of more power, and I am a firm believer in buying things only one time. Although I will never recommend a aeromotive A1000 to anyone (i have been through three of them and on my fourth now. when this one goes poop, I will go with two bosch 044s.)

A little extra now for big power later is always good. And sorry if I came off a dick.

if your throwing in a 255 (list looks good and the peeps here are right, Dsmlink first, they just came out with a lite version, so that saves $$) you will need an FPR for a 255. Stock one will be over run. (unless you have it already LOL)
