whats the cheapest way to have a low 12sec car?

Hello this is my first post, I currently own a 1988 Toyta supercharged MR2 and i love it, i have begun to have immense amouts of love for the 4G63T motor also. I want a 1g eclipse, laser, talon, and i want FWD, i think id have more problems with AWD, more parts...its heavier...and more parts to break..thats why i want FWD

anyway my question is how do i get a 12sec dsm as cheap as possible what would you recommend?

Mmmm bentleys.. theyre like, what 5500-6000 lbs.. i think the 060 if i recall is either 5.5 or 5.9 on the bentley continental.

I know how you could get it into the 13's for free...or very cheap.

Its not exactly legal though...and I'm not talking about stealing sh*t to get it there. All you have to do is cut off the exhaust, then do a huge weight reduction. Also prop the air intake up outside the hood area so it gets more air. Take off the hood, doors, chop off the roof(then you'll have a convertable), hatch, take all the seats except the drivers out, remove ALL the body kit, lights. In other words chop off any metal you don't need. Go to a junk yard and buy four 15' honda civic tires(light). Take off all of the pannels, carpet, stereo, speakers, glass, mirors, and pretty much gut the inside of the car.

This will save you a hell of a lot of weight and also free up the exhaust and intake. And its also cheap.

I saw sport compact car do this with someones Nissan Sentra. They shaved two seconds off its quarter mile time.

What was so funny about his Mustang comment? It has been shown time and TIME again that the 5.0 Foxbody is the cheapest HP for dollar car...EVER. Nothing beats it (whether anyone wants to admit it or not) With $1k you can run 11's in the bastard. The only reason I didn't get one was (a) they are uber common here in the south and (b) There are about 8 gremlins that come from the factory stock in a 1g AWD tranny. The 5.0 has around 20 gremlins. Horrible, horrible trannies...

I love the DSM but some of the forum members are starting to sound like supraforum or NSXprime guys. *shudders at the thought that one day we could be like them* Come on guys, you know we're cooler than that!
