Cheapest would be to simply buy a used one 100-200$ can get you one with piping.

VRSF but with shipping and anything else you may need(j-pipe, gm maf, diff bov flange), $300 might be a shy short!
But still by far one of the best qualities and thr best price to match.

The punishment racing FMIC is doing well on my car. Paid less than $300 used with all piping J pipe to TB. Not the best design but cheap and functional non the less.

After a quick search the vrsf core is a better design than the punishment racing. The end tanks angle to the inlet and out let where as the punishment is a big square

Punishment racing, godspeed project, and CX racing are all the same kit, you can get them on ebay normally for $350 turbo to throttle body plus Greddy rs knock off.

I would definitely go with the cx racing one. It's not to expensive, usually around $300. It's great for the price.

The 1g PR/CX racing kit sucks. Plain and simple. I have it. Harder install, crappier design as stated above, bad fitment issues, and NO customer service, PR laughs at you when you try and get them to address the issues. There are multiple threads on here about how much the PR/CX kit sucks and the fitment issues you'll have if you pick it. If I had to do it again I'd go with VRSF hands down.

Install was about the same as the vrsf. The only place that was iffy was the BOV because the flange is welded on a piece that sticks up pretty high so it's pretty close to the hood. I've also seen a lot of people just leave the crash beam off but cutting it and re welding a piece in to help air flow too it is much more efficient. But I would also go with the vrsf kit if i was doing it again. Also depends on how much horsepower you plan to make and what you're using the car for. More surface area generally cools better but doesn't always flow better.

Go with vrsf! I just put mine in recently and it's great! EASY install, no major cutting was required.
And it's inexpensive.

The SBR/Kinetic Race Core is one of the biggest short route piping cores I've seen. There a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. The LAST place I'd buy an intercooler core from is Egay.

And 3 inch intercooler piping? I'm gonna go out on a limb here, if you are asking what the biggest core you can get is, your not on a level that requires 3 inch intercooler piping.

+1 For the SBR Race intercooler. They use a Garrett core, and do an amazing job of cooling the charge. I usually don't see more than 10* (10* logged in 90* ambients, much less when it's cooler out) temp change from the start of a pull to the end. Just because you have a massive intercooler doesn't mean it's really doing a whole lot. Do you think the people overseas in China really put much R&D into their products?? Do you think Garrett puts much R&D into their products? Simple answer. You're getting what you're paying for. Have fun knocking if you choose the eBay route and decide to crank the boost up.

Wow, deff big, but what a ripoff. Typical though, its BR , so it automatically makes it overpriced. 24x13x4 = $899 for just the core


Or 24x12x3.5 = $829 for an entire kit.

In the end it is "bigger" and thats what the OP asked for, just thought I should make sure hes aware that he can get an almost identically sized one WITH pipes,couplers & clamps for less than just that core.

Then again, he was talking about getting an Ebay core so I highly doubt he'd shell out $900 for just a core anyways .
