I have a garrett t28 on its way to me. Looking to upgrade little things while Im at it. So, how about the cheapie ebay tubular o2 housings? Ported evo3 housing? Stock 2g housing ported with an air grinder?

Seems like anything would be better than stock, but really do not know,, thats why I ask. Thanks!

Your best option is the keep your stock one, 2g o2 housing, and port the housing.

I used an "ebay" ss o2 housing for 2-3 years, great for the price, no leaks, but damn was it shottie quality. I had to tru the flanges and grind down some edges inside where the recirculation tube mates. It didnt say pretty either, but it works.

Evo3 changes the position of the downpipe of your vehicle. 2g ported will allow for no modification of your exhaust system.

Also, if ss o2 housing is what your after. Start looking for a used Megan o2 housing. Got mine off the classified section $80. Works great and looks good(brownie points, not that I care for the flashy stuff)

PR makes an o2 with external ive heard good things about. A bit pricey with the tial wg on it but i think you can get one setup for internal gated.

I would just port the stock 2g. Next best cheapest is the 2.5 inch recirculated one from punishement racing, I love that peice. It's about $180 dollars tho, but really just port your stock o2 you will notice a difference.

Alright, Thanks folks! That was easy enough. Nice to not be buying another part too.

I really like my megan, but if i were to do it again, I would port the regular o2 housing even though it wont flow as good as a true 2.5. My reasons being, I fried an alternator because the stock heatshield didnt fit my new o2 housing. Less headaches and money just port until you are going really big.
