I read on some magazine that it was dyno proven, that a turbo 350z was actually faster with the ext dumps.

supposably the exhaust flow was disrupted with the re-entry of the dump gases, and the dump's flow was smoother.

I dunno about the truth to this, but who know.s.

It makes sense, plus if you think about it, you're sending less gas down the exhaust with a dump. So in a sense, it makes your existing exhaust system act like a bigger pipe.
