420A What year is compatible with a 1995 eclipse rs

I have a 1995 eclipse rs and in need of a crankshaft and camshaft sensor I was going to go to pull a part this weekend and get one but they don't have a 1995 they have have every year but 1995 what year is compatible with mine.

Any 420a motor should work bro. Plenty of cars with that motor, in Chrysler and dodge and Mitsu.

yep all 420a eclipse motors should work the same just make sure you match everything else up to what you have, and as long as it all looks the same, and or has the same wire connectors etc. you should be good.

Watch out got the pin style. 95-96 use a different style than the 97-99 ones. One uses flat pins the other round. I can't remember off the top of my head which uses which.

Also the wire colors varied slightly from year to year but the position of the wire in the the connector didn't change.

For example if the middle pin is the signal on a 95 crank connector it will be the same on the 99 connector but will be a different pin style and most likely a different wire color.
