2G what year ECU are compatible with a 1997 gst?

my caps are busted in my ecu so im in the market for a new one. what years are compatible with my 1997 gst?

Practicly all ecu's you will be able to use. You can always send ecu in to get the caps done. But you can look into 98-99 flashable ecu or 95-99 ecu 5 speed or auto ecu depending what you have. Also eprom ecu is nice to have if looking into ecmlink.

do i need to get a ecu from a five speed or does that even matter? mine is a 5 speed.

........has an extra 97 5sp gst ecu yes there are differences from gst to gsx gsx has no governer at 140 but you can clip a thing in the gst to eliminate it to...Let me know if you want the ecu it worked fine when i pulled it to put in an eprom
