So what tool do I need to take off the head?

If you are working on a 6 bolt, you wil need a ratchet/socket set with 10,12,14,and 17, you will also need 10, 12, 14, and 17mm wrenches. You are going to need an allen 10mm hex bit to remove the head bolts.

No offense. However, if you simply must ask a quastion like this, then you really have no business removing a cylinder head. What "tool" are you going to use to re-time the cams? You'll break valves and have to pull the head unless you know what you're doing. There are plenty of great threads here that will give you what you need to know when you throw a manual in the mix.
