What to do with my blown 420A

so i've asked this already on this website earlier today but i i dont think it was clear, so heres attempt #2..
i have a 1997 eclipse N/T with a rod through the oil pan... what is the best and cheapest way to rebuild the engine im thinking just a new block from a salvage yard should do the trink plus the pan, and the rod?
and Advice would be great

Well with having a con rod out the oil pan, I will say you need a whole shortblock.

I would have to guess the crank is shot, at a min one rod, and what do you think happened to the block when the rod came apart?
I would also say that the head will need some valves replaced
