What territory is a FP Big28 at 21psi?

Hi, can anyone that has a FP Big28 and runs about 18-22psi with all the supporting mods tell, what territorry that is?

I'm going with that on my 96 GSX.

Highway: Is it Evo 8, Modded STI,...,...,... territory?

Red light: Is it Evo 8, Modded STI,...,...,... territory?

That should be a mid to high 12sec car depending on driver.

Honestly.....fully supporting modded....21 psi is low 12 second range. When I talked to Robert at FP, he said Laurens' 99 GSX had FULL supporting mods (3" exhaust, FMIC, 650cc injectors, 255 w/ afpr, can't remember if it was piggyback tuned or not, 264/272 cams, race gas) and previoulsy had a FP green on it and went 11.7 or something, then they bolted on a FP Big28 and went 11.9 @ 119. He said the boost gauge would peg 25 at each shift and settle to 21 psi steady.

FP Big28 is good bang for your buck.

I had a Big28 on my 95' GSX in Germany (1000ft above sea level) and with the stock SMIC my 95 ran a 13.21 @ 103 on pump gas, full weight.

My 98' GSX is a bit heavier, and at 4400 ft above sea level, the best it has managed is 13.39 @ 102 through the stock SMIC, tuned with a SAFC.

I have tangled with many a STi, EVO 8, SRT-4, Camaro z28/SS, Mustang GT, and other imports.

NOTHING.....I say again.....NOTHING $ for $ could touch my GSX.

There are a few EVOs locally that have alot of money in them and they can get out a length or so, but again $ for $, you can hardly beat a FP Big28.

Now that I brought up $ for $, there is now a 1G locally with a RS49 that laid the smack down on some very unsuspecting Evo owners.

Fp Big28 is a great turbo.....accept no imitations.

I'm about to put a FP Bt28 on mine. I'm going to keep the stock injectors but put a walbro 190 with a rewire kit and a safc. My friend has a TSI that the Bt28 came off of and he had 550's iwth a 190 and while it was on the dyno at 22psi they still had to lean it out 20%


But yes, a Bt28 will support good boost till around 23 and after that it falls out like teh t25 does
