not to throw this thread off but is there even such a thing as ball bearing full t4s? ive been searching and cant find any. i was going to go full ball bearing 56 trim t3/t4 with the 1.06 A/R but thought about the t4 and looked into that. anyone?

Yes, turbonetics makes ball bearing variants of pretty much every single one of their turbos, so does innovative, and many of Garrett's new GT turbos are ball bearing in a T4 frame. The price of the ball bearing upgrade in the first place, as well as the much higher cost to rebuild a ball-bearing turbo is not justified by the gains, IMO. If you're trying to run like a T76 Q-trim on a full race car and you're just falling out of boost between runs on a non-BB turbo, sure, but the difference in spool on the street really isn't that great compared to the same turbo but non ball bearing.

im looking for better transient response from a turbo than the PTE 57 trim i had is all. im figuring that the extra torque from the quicker spool on the 2.4 will be nice too. jesus, i might have to sell my pretty tubular o2 housing with external to go full t4 now.

For my new race car, I am building my own which is my DSM interpretation of the Full-Race "Pro Race" style manifold. GT42 Turbo - Divided housing.

as far as what? this is interesting.

I believe what hes getting at is even if the spoolup and response was somewhat similar.... it really doesnt matter cause once you are spooled, that 2.4 full T4 setup is gonna pull scary hard.

South florida performance manifold. No it doesnt crack. Yes both stock fans will fit if you are using the stock radiator. Im using one with a 60 trim. See my gallery for pics. Sean

Is Eric not running any rad fans? Or is he using a push style?

I run FAL Pushers on the other side ;)

That is a prototype manifold before coating. Works like a dream though. It was good enough to knock the shit off of a low 11 sec Cobra on slicks this weekend in southern indiana/kentucky. Viva la DSM!!

Yeah, Blake told me about the race. You put 8-10 on a 2.2 Kenne Belle 03 Cobra, the white one, right?

I've got the dnp t3/t4 manifold, just goign to cut the t3 flange off and have a t4 welded on. Also have it flanged for a tial 38mm.
