looking to buy my friends t3/t4 turbo, and was wondering whats a good cheap manifold to buy? found a couple for around 600 dollars is there any decent ones for cheaper?

you guys have good luck with ebay manifolds? i know that in my area (tiburons) we never have had any luck with ebay manifolds, obx and all that have fallen below standards in the hyundai area, not sure how it is for dsms

the cast ones that look like turbonetics are like $180 plus like $25 shipping. They seem to work fine and have the 38mm external provision. The AMS adapter plate is $100 and has gone over 600whp

several of the ebay ones have been shown to crack. Don't waste your money. Punishment racing and SLS both make great T3 manifolds that work and hold up great. I have used many SLS manifolds with excellent success. I haven't personally used one from Punishment but I have heard several good things.

Not to mention I don't know anyone that makes a t3/t4 manifold. I know some that make t4 and t3 manifolds but no t3/t4.(Just in case you didn't catch that there is no such thing as a t3/t4 manifold)

Ebay manifolds are hit or miss so buy knowing that if you do. As long as you don't hook up a huge turbo that was made to have bracing or get water on it during heat cycles I think that you might be ok.

Yeah ebay mani's suck big time. Just get some $ together and get a punishment racing mani. Buy something worth it don't waste it on garbage parts, unless you get the mani coated but LOL never exhaust wrap it.

yea heres a picture of the turbo im planning to buy. he told me he will sell me his wastegate and injectors with the turbo. im only planning to boost about 18-20 psi on it if i get it .

Well ebay manifolds will do well if there are extra supports welded on it, and you iwll need to support the turbo due to it being so heavy, with all the precautions taken care of ebay manifolds will work fine. But the ebay cast iron ones I have seen I have no clue about, as long as the quality of the cast is fine you should not have a problem wiht it cracking. Alternatives could be the treadstone or turbonetics manifold, both are relatively cheap, cast iron, and well made so there is really nothing to be afraid of with either manifold.

If you use an eBay or Turbonetics cast T3 manifold, you'll have trouble with larger (.82 a/r) turbine housings hitting the block on the front balance shaft tube.

If price doesn't matter, go with the ERL for sure. You won't be disappointed.

so it is possible for a t4 to be mounted? i have a t4 masterpower cap of 550/tail wastegate/ and a turbo concepts blow off. i need a header for the eclipse. don
