so what kind of system do you guys have in your dsm, im going to change mine but as you all well know the trunk isnt that big. i have 2 10' mtx subs in a box with a 500watt mtx amp () put new pioneer 6x9 and 6 1/2 on the doors with the stock amp (tsi) i dont have a pic but its basic if you got pics put them up

I've got factory 2g Infinity 6 x 9's in the rear, Kicker something or rather in the doors, Pioneers in the dash, and in the trunk is some old Sony Xplod amp with 1 Audiobahn 10" sub.

Alpine 9886, jl 300/4 new 500/1, and a jl audio 12w6v2 in a sealed box i made, and focal seperates, with sirius sat. Ill do a custom trunk enclosure one day, but for now this system is loud and clear.

I DID at one point have 2 jl 1000x1 amps and 2 JL 12w7's

Previous DSM i managed to fit 2 JL 18w3's....surprisingly the boxes for those dont have to be big at all...like .9 cubic ft.

I used to compete in SPL competitions before I became a DSMer. I've had as many as 9 subs and 5 amps in my old 2-seater Honda, and I also squeezed 4-12's into the hatch of my old 2G N/T.

polk dash, JL evolution series 6's in the doors, 6/9 in rear also directly in front of the 6/9's i have kicker 6's custom mounted in the plastic and two 12' kicker cvr in a monster of a box running bridged from a sony 1000w amp oh and a clarion headunit and jbl tweeters mounted in the doors

that is 10.2 audio and yes it is very loud and no my car is not rice it is infact completely stock other that a mbc and a brocken a$$ exhaust

had 2 diamond audio 12D3 in a ported box with a Diamond 800.1 amp in my first GS then i got my GSX ad GST ad ran 2 kicker comp cvr and a ported box with a hifonics 1000/1 and now i just bought my GST Spyder and im deciding what to fit in those small trunks im trying to either do a JL 10 or 12 W7 with a 1000/1 jl amp or i also heard that the Kicker Solo 10 L7 or 12L7 with a kicker amp will fit but yah ill let you know when i get them in.

Ew. Systems. That's added weight you know. I only allowed myself the rear speakers and Kenwood head unit. The front door speakers and maybe the tweeters are coming out soon.

I'm using an 8445 Eclipse head unit with 8 volt outputs.
Infinity reference components in the front, Infinity reference 6x9s in the back,
(both powered by an Alpine 50 watt x 4 amplifier).
Two, JL Audio 15 W3's with an Autotek 800 watt mono amp.

I had 2-Solobaric 15's in my old 1g Eclipse GS. They barely fit in the hatch and I only used them when I felt like cruising. Other than that, I took them out because they were 70 pounds.

When I bought my AWD Tsi, I immediatedly saw there wasn't any room for the 15's . In the AWD, there is no sump for the spare tire, it just sits on top of the trunk floor. At most, I may install a small 8" subwoofer for some depth.

thats nice and clean, ill do a fiberglass enclosure on the pass side, im able to keep my spare tire,
and i built a small box for the sub. and i mounted the crossovers and the two amps on the side of the box. Right now the car is apart, and im redoing the nightmare of wires in the car, from the satetlie, gm maft in the car, and the decks accessorires, usb, and my palm pilot, cable, and the car charger. Tonnes of fun.

No system for me. Just a cheapo walmart pioneer and some sony explods in the front and rear.

In my Audi 4kcs Quattro I had a set of 12" tornado's and American Legace amp. It sounded pretty well but the audi was slow and that stuff doesn't make me faster so no more for me.

pioneer 4x50 with front usb port, and ipod connection - best invention EVER No more scratched CD's. No more skipping when I go over RR tracks.

I have pioneer speakers all around plus 8 inch self powered sub. I would not recommend the pioneer 6x9 - get Rockford - a LOT more bass.

2 "12 cerwin-vega hvc w/ a 2ch 1ooowatt fuzion amp and .5 frad fuzion compassator. also a JVC double din head. stk mid and highs. want to build a box that fits be hind the drivers seat, cause no one can fit there when i'm driving anyway. anybody now what the stk system power rating is?

I think I'll eventually upgrade the speakers considering they're 17 years old. I really like the fact that I have the original head unit that plays casettes and cd's, but it skips over every bump! I might upgrade to a simple pioneer head unit or something.

Pioneer DEH-? headunit, 1 12" sony Xplode sub, Stock speakers in front rear and tweeters. all free except for headunit, that came with my car.
But im looking to buy something from a shop where the guy said they can make me a custom box with just one sub and a small enclosure. Don't want all my trunk space taken up. Also I'm getting some new door and rear speakers, stock ones are HORRIBLE!!!

Old School Rockford amps are the best.

Anyone remember the cheater amps that put out double what they were rated for? I used to have one of the punch 225 amps and that damn thing was a beast. It laughed at 1 ohm configurations. Wish I still had one.
