I wanna see what rims you guys have on your 2g's. I really like deep dish rims. I really dont know what kind i would put on my talon. If you could Post a pic of your rim and the name and size. That would be awesome. Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

I had my 18x8 gloss black Motegi DP10's on my old talon that was the same color as yours. It looked great. I sold the car now tho.

You're going to have fitment issues if you want a really deep dish. Our cars have to run a pretty big offset because of the car's design. The brake calipers also cause clearance issues with some rim styles. I've seen a 1-2" dish, but that's about it without a stupidly stretched tire.

I have 19" Konig Imagines on my 2g GST with P235/35/R19 Goodyear Eagle GT tires on them... A little love from a spacer and they fit just fine. When I get back to my home computer i'll put up a picture.

I am also looking to put rims on my car and I found it helpful to look at the other members cars in the photo gallery and then looking at their mods page to see what the rims were.

It helped me because I was worried about the fitment issue as well.

I am very happy with mine. I looked for a cheap set of this style for forever, come to find out my brother had these on his jetta 800 miles away....yes I found a way to get them to me :sneaky:

How do you measure offset? Anybody know?

I have stock 16x6's painted, in avitar..
I have a set of 17x7's in storage..Motegi sr7 I think...

And I'm going to look at a set of 18's today, hence the question on how to measure offset..

Im running Tenzo Type M V2 (18x8) with +45mm offset and 225/40/18s.

With that said, you really can't run much of a lip with our cars, their just isn't much space available.

Not True.

I run
19"x8" +35mm Volk GT-7 (f) w/1.5" lip on a 235/35/19 (25.5"OD)
19X10.5" +32mm Volk GT-7 (r) w/2.5" lip on a 265/30/19 (25.3" OD)

With a little love from Spacers, and some rolling pulling i can run without - camber.

Fair enough, but that also requires spacers and rolling/pulling, in stock form you aren't gunna have much fun with those.

rolled the fronts, and pulled the rears to give a nice little flare to the fender.

fronts took about 30 mins to roll, and rears a bit of cutting, welding, and hammer work to maintain structural integrity. 2 days tops.

The offset of a vehicle's wheel is the distance between the centerline of the wheel and the plane of the hub-mounting surface of the wheel

I'm runnin volk te37's 18 x 8.5 with a 225x40x18 tire, they seem to be a perfect fit,
