And alone, getting carbon buildup on tops of the pistons and sparkplug area of the head...

What's dangerous on using colder plugs when one should be using hotter ones...is that carbon buildup will be the results.

DSMTuners wonders why the knock count is increasing since his compression ratio is gradually increasing - probably due to carbon buildup..
 
They may work, but not as effective if one used what the factory recommends for best efficency for the setup.

"Ir's" are made for the newer motors since the manufacturers designed these motors around this kind of sparkplug.

Learned this lesson the hard way ...
