2G what spark plugs and plug wires do you recomend?

i just bought my 96 gsx a week ago and im looking to get some new spark plugs and plug wires since i dont know the last time they were changed.
what wires and plugs do you recomend?

I cheat: I use BPR6EY .. the grooved electrode variety and still gapped at .028.

The flame stays round instead of being squished..kinda does a bit more bump in the power range.

If you dont have any missfires or carbon build up on the plug, you will be fine.

And alone, getting carbon buildup on tops of the pistons and sparkplug area of the head...

What's dangerous on using colder plugs when one should be using hotter ones...is that carbon buildup will be the results.

DSMTuners wonders why the knock count is increasing since his compression ratio is gradually increasing - probably due to carbon buildup..

i kinda like the NGK iridium plugs there alittlr pricey but thats what i have run in all my import cars

They may work, but not as effective if one used what the factory recommends for best efficency for the setup.

"Ir's" are made for the newer motors since the manufacturers designed these motors around this kind of sparkplug.

Learned this lesson the hard way ...
