Well I have been doing some thinking and well, turns out I am tired of the eclipse.
Why? Well first of all I spent like about way to much money on it and it keep's breaking.
I have a oil leak,trans leak,antifreez leak/busted radiator.
Right now I am unemployed so I have no funds for a rebuild, and how all these leaks came about I am not sure.
So should I part out the car? keep the car and wait untill I come across some money and rebuild the motor etc? or should I sell the car and use the money to find another eclipse with less problems?
Also how much money should I ask for with all those problems?

Keep it and drop a 4G63 in it. Yeah man I know what you mean, I'v been there actually I'm still there. My current DSM has been sitting since feburary. I'm finally getting around to taking the motor out this weekend and rebuilding it. Just keep positive and find a job and get that car back on the road.

As soon as I find a job that money will got to all the bills house, phone, etc.
But it might be awhile before I even get to spend money on the car, first I need to get back on my feet.

Keep it and drop a 4G63 in it.
I hope that was a joke.

OP, for what you'll be able to sell it for in it's current condition you probably won't get much in return. If you think you can stand it, I'd try to weather the storm and keep it until you can fix at least the radiator and trans leak, and then maybe try to sell it for a little more.

I suppose it wouldn't hurt to list it for what you think you need to get out of it and just see if you get any takers. You might get lucky, ...after all; another sucker is born every second. Just be up-front and honest about the problems the car has with anyone who shows a genuine interest.

How much do you think a shop would rebuild it for? Right now I don't have a garage or any of the tools needed or the time. Maybe I will just try to fix all the leaks and sale it like it is.

I'd put it up for sale, and see what you can get for it. if you dont get what you want you can keep it, or just decide not to sell it at all. I'm kinda in the same boat. I was in debt, and had to take out a loan to get out of it, so Know I owe a few hundred dollars to the bank every month. I got a job interview tomorrow, and I am now gonna sell my TSI and get my financials straightened out, and go from there. I say if you really like the car, and you think you can weather the storm than go for it. Otherwise try to fix what you can, and sell it.
