I had a 1990 talon tsi awd that got smashed, We pulled the motor and considered a rebuild
but i don't have a clue what i need for a rebuild. the 6 bolt motor has 166,XXX miles on it
I don't know what engine internals to do or anything before i put it in my 91 awd talon to make a 6/4 combo
these are the current parts that i have to work with:
Walbro 255 fuel pump
3" tsudo downpipe
3" turboback exhaust
ported 14b turbo
50 trim turbo
ebay tubular exhaust manifold
ebay tubular o2 housing w/ internal dump
voodoo mbc
TurboXs rfl bov (i need a different one because i was told that i lose power because of it)
Plan on getting so far:
SAFC II
600-700cc injectors
FMIC
want to go back to the 50trim to make more power, even with the loss of spool time
Thanks Guys

this all depends on how much you would like to spend really. if it were me, i would build the head a little, get the block resurfaced and decked, good pistons and rods, check to see if the crank needs changed, lifters, water pump, oil pump, and all new gaskets. make it so that you wont have to do this again kind of deal.

Okay, that's enough.

Do some searching. We're keen to help, but we aren't going to spoon-feed you through every step of every rebuild that has already been talked to death on this board.
