i got the b&m shifter from options auto at http://www.optauto.com/webstore/product_list.asp?dept=1029&last=1029
cheapest price i could find, $150 there versus $200 everywhere else, and its an unbelievable shifter, really solid, clicks into place real nice

i also got the symborski metal shifter bushings from machv at http://www.machv.com/symshifkit1.html
i think these helped tighten stuff up some too, but it was hard to tell cuz i installed both at the same time

i def recommend both of these, highly and thoroughly worth it. g'luck.

Dogbox Racing has developed a new short throw setup at a reasonable price about $120. It not only shortens the throw, but also prevents shift fork breakage by limiting the throw and works/feels incredible... no bs. you will need to send in your core linkage for the short throw assembly. I had one of those on my old GST and i loved it. There was definately a big difference. I stand by hacked shifters. They are cheap and work great. Especially on 2g's which have 16inch stock shifters
