Just bought a 2G Talon TSi with a Quaiffe LSD and i want to change the tranny oil, anything special i should use because of the Quaiffe? I was thinking Redline MT-90 or Pennzoil Syncromesh, or Royal Purple?

Just to compliment what Joe stated, choosing the correct type of gear oil is quite important. Aside from making sure the oil will properly work with the gears, bearings, and synchro assemblies in your specific application; certain types of oil could impact or limit the effectiveness of the LSD. Using a Redline Shockproof type of gear oil, for example, which contains small solid particles, will act as an extreme pressure agent on a helical gear LSD. The Quaife LSD functions based on the friction generated between the gears and the housing. Using a fluid which is too slick will affect the amount of friction, thus, reducing the effectiveness, or benefits, of having an LSD.

Not that anyone would ever use Redline Shockproof inside of a transmission, right? :)
