Hi guys,

So what does everyone who runs a mechanical clutch type LSD (Eg. Cusco LSD134C), use for their gearbox oil. Im having issues finding something to go in the box that meets the 75W90, GL4, and LSD compatible requirements.

TIA!

75w90 with limited slip diff additive should work for you in that case i would think. kind of the same as a clutch type lsd in a rear diff.

edit. redline oils pn: 57904 this has the friction modifiers for the clutch type lsd already in it.

Use either redline 75w90NS (no slip) or 75w140NS gear oils. If you are low power levels, like less than 400hp, use the thinner oil. Anything above 400 and use the 75w140NS gear oil.

Both oils work excellent with the differential as well as the factory synchros. Both also provide the protection needed for the gears as well.
