well i get a little knock every know and then on my knocck sum gauge. it goes like to -7 to 0 then i let off!and my numbers are like 12.0 11.8 what should i do lean richer. wb

What fuel are you using? If it's pump gas, then you want to be richer...like what knochgoon24 suggested. If it's e85, then you are about right.

Are you still on the setup listed in your profile? If so, add some fuel with the afc where you start knocking until you get rid of it. I don't see a logger listed...borrow one or buy one so that you can see exactly what's going on. Or, turn down your boost until you don't knock if you are already maxing out your fuel setup (I don't see that happening unless you are on e85).

well i do i have logger but i need the software for it! i have 660 cc injector afpr and walbro 190. and im getting like 40 -43 throught the rail and regulator! is 10.9 a good number! what are good numbers? wb asap thanks man

Free 1g logger software here: Ceddy's Lair Scroll down and grab MMCd, it's supposed to be the best free 1g logging software, and is what most people use.

10.9:1 is about as lean as I like to be on pump gas, but I'm fairly conservative cause the car is my DD. You might push it a little farther, but I wouldn't without the logger. There are tons of threads on this site about tuning, afrs, and how far 'X' setup will go. Search around, read up, and you'll be ready to safely make more power :)

10.9 is safe. If your on pump gas I would NOT go any leaner than 11.6 or 11.8. Try to keep it richer for safety. 11.5 is a nice round number that most people do.

10.9afr seems to like the most boost and timing on pump gas. I would go richer.

On your car. Remember EVERY car is different, even if it has the same setup.
Depending on turbo size and boost you really don't have to go richer than 10.9.

If your running a large turbo and 30+psi I would keep it around the 10.6 range. If your running like a 16g and like 25psi, you will be ok at 10.9 -11.5

im runnig a ported greddy 18g 660cc injectors and afc piggback transaltorand a stage 3 dsm chip from jeff. but i zeroed the translator out to do all my tunning with afc. so ill try to do make it 11.0 10.9 on 20 psi 93 octane. sounds good? wb

Brandon just richen it up a tad 10.9-11.3 is what I'm shooting for. well was until my ecu took a crap. do you have 93 octane out in your neck of the woods?
