So after trying to fix the coupler from my intake to my turbo the other day, I was removing the j-pipe on the turbo to my ic piping because I needed better access to the coupler and the bolt snapped off inside of the turbo. I tried to extract the bolt with the a kit I bought and the E-Z out broke off inside of that bolt. So after messing with it for a coupler of hours I decided I was going to remove the turbo and take it to a machine shop so they could retap and helicoil it for me. So I took out my turbo, its housing and all of the components that connect with the turbo, exhaust manifold etc. and took the my turbo to a machine shop. While I was at it, I straightened up my crooked intercooler and made sure of no leaks. The machine shop fixed up the turbo for me but took disconnected the turbo from its other part and gave it to me like that. So I came home and re-assembled everything and put it back into my car. After everything was put into the car, I changed the oil because I drained it when I took the oil out and put in antifreeze. I primed my turbo up by taking the engine fuse out and cranking it for a bit. Put the fuse back in and started her up. Everything was good until white smoke just started coming from everywhere underneath my car. I shut off my car and took a look. I was leaking oil from "excuse my terms" the black thing that hooks up to the bottom of the turbo that runs the oil. The white smoke seemed to be coming from everywhere. I looked under my car and it was coming from my whole exhaust pretty much. May I add before this I had CEL and I was getting terrible mpg. And in the process of all of this, I changed my front O2 sensor. What should I do? Any suggestions would be great. I need to get my car running again.

It sounds like your oil return pipe is leaking and it ran down on to your exhaust. Oil always flows backwards on your vehicle so thats what it sounds like happened. Now when you start your car, the oil is burning off. I would fix you oil leak and clean off your exhaust. See if that doesn't fix the problem.

Apply some RTV to your gaskets on your return pipe and see if that fixes it.

Ok so I bought and made some new gaskets for my oil return line and everything went well on that. At the same time, I was putting on a new oil feed line that I had to buy because my old one broke and when tightening the banjo bolt, it snapped ..So I can't really do anything until I find a new one of those..and I really need my car tom. This sucks. But anyways I have two questions that I just thought of. First, on the banjo bolt for my oil feed line, do you have to line it up so the hole on the bolt is in line with the oil feed line? Second question. I only feed line I could find was about 8 inches longer than my old one. Is this Okay?
