What Muffler sounds the best deep,,not ricey

I think I am going to go with one of the 2 1/2"Punishment Racing downpipes and then have a local shop do a custom 2 1/2" w/ test pipe,no emissions tests here is Tulsa,Ok. I just do not want to blow money on a muffler that sounds like BRRRRRRRICEE. Any advise Please.
Also any input on the things above I am thinking about.

I actually had the Apexi WS catback on my Integra GSR and LOVED it. Kept the noise to a minimal purr, even during WOT. and this is on a nonturbo car. Seemed to help alot for the lowend to midrange torque. If they actually made one for 1g AWD's id buy one in a heartbeat. Only exhaust systems ive ever bought for my cars have always been Apexi.

just got my VRS 3inch turbo back from SBR. Sweet!!! thats all i can say. it sounds like a V8 at idle. infact i was having my buddy rev it up and i was listening to it and the bov return hose poped off and the car was idleing like crap , sounded like a hopped up v8 with a cam.... haha. it has an awesome tone, so deep and throty. I had a 3inch Thermal R&D on my previous awd and i liked it also but crusin in 5th it was a bit to noisy imo.

ok i've spent the whole day researching to see what would be a fairly quiet muffler that would flow good. im inclining towards a magnaflow with 3 inch inlet and 2.5 dual outlets, the piping will be a 3 inch press bent with a magnaflow 3 inch cat and a 2.5'' downpipe
do u guys think that my car wont be too loud with this setup?
the whole setup is gonna cost me about 450 installed.
