What's this canister for?

That canister is the clutch accumulator. It's typically replaced with a stainless steel clutch line that runs from the hard line (near the body on the passenger side) to the slave.

Not sure what you're referring to on the "loose hose". Maybe a vent line of some sort? Picture isn't that great.

The line that's loose goes to the slave. It's loose cause the c clip that holds it in the bracket is missing. Actually, it looks like the clip is there so its probably just installed wrong.

Are you talking about the third pic with that black hose hanging over the steel line? If so it could be the hose that goes from the turbo intake pipe back to the evap can.

So your thinking it goes to the intake? Maybe that's why I keep getting a evap cel, although I just cleared it in ECMlink

another thing I found is that my passenger motor mount is missing a bolt!!!

It's actually a stud and nut but yes you are missing one. Sometimes the nut gets seized on the stud and when you back it off it takes the stud with it Call Mitsubishi and order a new one.

Like said above, it's NOT a bolt its a stud/nut. Also, the FSM doesn't list part numbers for much so you'd need to download CAPS or ASA to find the P/N. Call me psychic but, before you ask where to get those programs, use google and search those two acronyms and you'll find the info you need to download them to your computer.
